How this changes your scores
When you save a place, the Transit score on every listing switches from "how connected is this neighbourhood in general" to "how fast can you get from this listing to your place on TTC + GO at 8 AM on a weekday."
The shape of the curve:
- 5 min → ~90 (excellent)
- 15 min → ~74
- 35 min → ~50 (the typical Toronto commute)
- 60 min → ~30
- 90+ min → under 20
Two or three places? Each one gets its own score from a listing, then the Importance slider weights them: a Work address at "the deciding factor" beats a School address at "barely matters" by 5×.
Behind the scenes, we route every listing → every saved place through OpenTripPlanner against live TTC + GO Transit schedules. New addresses kick off a one-time precompute (~30s) so the map stays snappy after the first request.
